Example: Streaming Data to a Histogram

The Lively Client requires Python 3.7+ to run successfully.

Using the module to send data to a charting library.

Once the lively_client module is installed you can use it to create great looking charts. Depending on the way you installed it, you may have to restart the notebook.

In this section, learn how to send data from your notebook to any chart. The data is sent streaming, meaning you are only going to send the latest pieces of data to the chart.

Some charts require a specific data format, but otherwise, you are often able to send the same data set to a multitude of charts without changes in the data format.
To send data to a chart other than a histogram, the below notebook has a few other sample data sets. You can change the chart type accordingly. To find out which chart types are supported, check

public_client.LivelyClient().get_supported_chart_types()
